Born and raised in Arizona, Jonathan played most sports year-round, with an emphasis on soccer up to the club level and basketball into high school. He obtained a B.S. in Communication Studies, with a minor in Sports Management from California Baptist University.
Jonathan has over 15 years of sports management experience with athletes from Preschool to High School. He has trained youth in a variety of sports, while organizing programs, leagues, and tournaments.
As the Executive Director, his duties include the oversight of the direction of the organization, while also continuing to be in the field with head coaching duties in all of our programs.
Jen participated in cheer and played volleyball at the club and high school levels growing up in southern California. She received a B.S. in Hospitality Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Jen started her career the hospitality industry from 2005-2016, with experience spanning from catering, sales, marketing, and operations. She transitioned out of the industry and into a marketing firm position in order to work from home upon having her first child.
She is now a homeschooling mom for her three boys - Luke, Carter, and Miller.
Her position includes overseeing all operations of the organization.
Sarah played many sports, with basketball being her passion through high school. She also grew up participating in the Homeschool PE program as she grew up in Arizona.
Sarah began coaching in various venues with athletes from Kindergarten through High School, specifically following her passion for basketball. She joined Sports Kidz AZ in 2017, where she has worked her way from being a part-time coach to holding her current position.
Her current duties include head coach responsibilities for all of our programs, as well as managing coaching staff, and program development and implementation.
Matt was born in St. Charles, IL and moved to Anthem, AZ when he was 8 years old. He attended Boulder Creek High School, where he played and captained the varsity soccer team. He continued his soccer career at the University of Mobile on a soccer scholarship and graduated in 2019 with an MBA.
Before joining Sports Kidz AZ, he was the Director of Marketing a Football Club in Alabama where he coached several age groups, including in special needs and homeschool programs.
His current duties include head coaching duties in all of our programs, as well as program development, and marketing efforts.
Coach Nicole is the heart behind Sports Kidz AZ. Her desire in life was to always honor Christ, and it showed best through her compassion towards others. She was extremely passionate about children, especially those who were hurting in this world. Nicole's vision of serving in love through the building of self-esteem, integrity, and everlasting hope in the lives of children will forever be the vision for Sports Kidz AZ.
